Can these festoon lights be used outside?
Yes these lights can be used outside but we don’t recommend using outside if weather is bad. Festoon lights are water resistant not water proof.
Do I need a dimmer?
Dimmers are always recommended if you are having more than 4 – 5 strings as the festoon string can become bright if you have a lot in one area. Dimmers can be added for an additional $25 each, each dimmer can hold four 20m or eight 10m strings at a time.
How do I hang this light up?
To hang this light you are required to either have hooks or attach a rope or cable to lighting so that it can be fixed at either end if hanging between two points. It is important to remember that the lights will require power at one end and can’t be tied with the power cable attached to the globes to hang up between two points. Our staff can suggest ways to hang lighting using trussing and other rigging depending on your requirements. Push Up Lighting Stands are available for hire at $45 each
